Episode 5 - Bolsonaro, the Trump of Brazil

Jair Messias Bolsonaro was President of Brazil from 2019 to 2023 but is now facing trial for allegedly plotting to overthrow the Government of his successor, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, following his defeat in the 2022 election.

Bolsonaro is described as a far-right populist and the uprising had many similarities to the one that happened in the US following Trump's defeat in January 2021.  Trump himself is a supporter of Bolsonaro.
